While living in Vancouver, I attended a Church called “The Open House,” which is a nondenominational Christian community that does its best to live its faith. This Christmas season, TOH is involved in a community outreach that I think is really worthwhile – and one that is easy to try and ignore. If you can help out, time or money wise, please consider it. You don’t have to be a Christian to lend a hand, nor would you feel out of place in this warm community of people. Or, if you do decide to help out in the purchase of blankets, this is an organization that really does put 100% of donations to those in need.
