It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Last Saturday, two of my CWC classes came to an end. The Junior and the Senior novel teams finished – the former after 15 weeks, and the latter after 9 months. Both teams wrote novels and entered into contests – many of my students got a taste of how it feels to be published! Then on Monday, my final “real-world” CWC class came to a close. (I still have one on-line class that continues until the end of August.)

Now my summer goes into full-swing! First, I have a CWC Canada camp next week for four days. At it I will be teaching my unique perspective on dungeons. (I use the word “unique” only because it is far more polite – and probably less acurate than – “bizarre.”)

A few days after that, I begin the first (of what will hopefully become an) annual Chocolate and Chat Western Canada Tour – sponsored in part by Comic Life – with kc dyer. We have 9 stops confirmed:

July 7th – Kamloops – Chapters @ 6-9pm

July 8th – Banff – Indigospirit – Cascade Plaza – 6-9pm

July 9th – Calgary – Monkey Shines – 1-4pm

Owl’s Nest Books – 7-9pm

Cochrane – Nan Boothby Memorial Library – 7-9pm

July 11th – Calgary – Pages on Kensington – 7-9pm

July 12th – Salmon Arm – Spirit Quest Books – 3-5pm

July 13th – Kelowna – Chapters – 6-9pm

At each location we will have a draw for *free* copies of Comic Life and Comic Life Magiq, the very easy to use program that I used to make the Rancour video to the left (with iMovie).
